This year, we've extended our time together to FOUR full days with lunch, high-energy games, dynamic services, and team competitions. Your kids will have a BLAST while hanging out with their friends and learning more about God's Word! SALVATION PARTY REGISTRATION 01 Can I be a volunteer at Summer Bash? Volunteers 7th grade or older are welcome to be a part of Summer Bash, and you can sign up by filling out our registration form! Summer Bash is an exciting Dream Team opportunity. Click here to register now. 02 Do you accept same-day registration? We will gladly offer same-day registration if space is still available. We encourage you to sign up as soon as possible since registration is limited. 03 Is financial aid available? It’s our desire for every child who wants to come to Summer Bash to be able to attend! For this reason, we have made registration as cost effective as possible. However, if you are experiencing financial difficulty please email kids@oaks.church. 04 Can my child attend if they don't fall within the age bracket? Summer Bash content and activities are specifically designed for children who have completed K-5th grade. We are unable to serve kids who have not yet attended kindergarten. Thank you for understanding. 05 What should my children wear for the event? At check-in, your child will receive a Summer Bash team T-shirt to wear each day of the event. An additional t-shirt can be ordered at registration if desired. We ask children to wear comfortable clothing for indoor & outdoor activities. We also require closed toe shoes. 06 What if my child has an EpiPen or inhaler? If your child has an EpiPen or inhaler, we ask that you bring the item with you to check in and complete a medical waiver on-site. If you have further questions, please contact us at kids@oaks.church. 07 Is lunch provided at the event? Yes, lunch is provided each day for Summer Bash. The cost is included in the registration fee. If your child has allergies, please contact jose.rodriguez@oaks.church to coordinate an alternate lunch plan. 08 Can my child be on the same team as their friend? At registration please note one or two friends your child would like to be with. We will do our best to accommodate this, but it is not guaranteed. 09 Can I drop my child early? Doors open for check-in at 8:30 am each day. 10 Can I pick up my child early? Because of our planned activities, we ask that your child stay through the duration of the event and not leave early. Pickup will begin promptly at 3:00 pm. Late pick-ups will not be permitted. 11 Can I stay during the event? For the safety of everyone attending, we do not allow anyone into the building that is not a registered Summer Bash volunteer. We require every adult working the event to have a background check and attend training. This is the best way for us to ensure your child is safe. Thank you for understanding. 12 Can I get a refund for my child's registration? We know plans change! We can issue a refund for your child’s registration up to two weeks before the event.

Learn how to choose joy and gain the confidence you need to become the woman and mom you dream of being. When you join this support group, you will: meet weekly for 12 weeks, be mentored by women who understand motherhood, make new mom friends, and gain life-changing skills that will help you find your passion. JOIN EMBRACE LIFE Saves Two Lives! A Love Box A Love Box is gift to single young women who may be considering abortion. Each box has a personal invitation to our Oaks Church Embrace Grace support group, stories from both a parenting mom and birth mom, a letter of hope, a journal with writing prompts encouraging her to be fearless, a ‘Best Gift Ever’ onesie and "A Bump in Life" book that includes testimonies that offer single and pregnant moms hope. Serve Day is an amazing opportunity to serve our community as a church family and show them the love of Jesus. We are partnering with local schools as they get ready for the upcoming year. MONTHLY SERVE OPPORTUNITY What is Serve Day? Serve Day is an amazing opportunity to serve our community and show the love of Jesus. This year, we will have three church-wide Serve Day opportunities, one in the spring, one in the summer, and another one in the fall. "What would it look like if we got as many people as possible to serve our local schools and partners on one day, together, all across Ellis and South Dallas county?" This question jumpstarted Serve Day in 2021, and we've seen an incredible impact in our community relationships and church health as we've continued this annual event. The goal? To mobilize our church to be the hands and feet of Jesus to serve institutions that touch the lives of families every day in our region. The impact? Meeting tangible needs and demonstrating a heart of service. God's people come alive when they sacrifice and serve, just as Jesus modeled. When we love others as He did, putting their needs first, we are living out the example He set for us, and our spirits are refreshed and strengthened as we live the way Jesus called us to.
