SCRIPTURE - Ephesians 3:20-21
Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us, to him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, for ever and ever! Amen.
OBSERVATION
This powerful verse speaks for itself. God surpasses our expectations, even more than we could ever think to ask. The power He does it by is the same power within us. He's worthy of our worship and honor.
APPLICATION
Today is the last day of our fast. Hopefully, you've been able to focus on God, hear His voice, and really believe for and experience breakthrough. We pray that you've felt challenged in your mindset, behavior, and relationships.
But guess what? Whatever God has done for you during this time, He can do more. More than you think. More than you can ask. He can do more. Yesterday, we talked about loving God even if He did nothing else, but He's just too good, and it seems He always has more in store for us because He's a perfect father.
PRAYER
Did you get what you were hoping for out of this fast? Did you get something that you weren't expecting? Did you learn about new areas in your life you need to be challenged to grow in? Thank God for any insight or breakthrough He's given you through your commitment. Believe that God has even more in store for you personally, because He loves you.
"God, thank you for all the work you've done through this fast. Thank you for doing it in me, and thank you for doing it in our church. Help me to live out what you've shown me and to expect even greater things to come. Thank you for who you are in my life. I love you. In Jesus' name, amen.”
