SCRIPTURE - MATTHEW 5:6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled. OBSERVATION When Jesus said these words, he was speaking to people who knew real hunger. His audience was made up of ordinary Jewish people who were living under Roman oppression, and often barely had what they needed to get by.
