Talk
Share a high and a low from this week. Ask, “Does anyone need help this week?” or “How can our family support them?”
Scripture
“Therefore, as God’s chosen people, holy and dearly loved, clothed yourselves with compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
Colossians 3:12-13

Have someone else read the scripture out loud again. What does this verse tell you about people? How should this verse challenge us?
Self
Have someone else read the scripture out loud again. Which action are you able to recognize that you need to grow in (compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness and patience)? Which of these actions is the hardest for you?
Prayer
God, thank you for choosing me as your child. Help me to remember that as your child I am called to walk in compassion, kindness, humility, gentleness, and patience. Remind me to forgive others as you have forgiven me. Thank you for your patience with me. In Jesus name, Amen.
