Gratitude

Take a moment to think about or write down something you are especially grateful for this week. It could be big or small, but focus on what brought you joy or peace. Share your thoughts with your family and encourage everyone to reflect on their blessings.

Scripture

“Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things.”

Colossians 3:1-2

Reflect

Take some time to write your answers to these questions:

  • Is there anything in your life at the moment that is pulling your focus away from Jesus?

  • What is something you can do this week to re-align your heart more closely with God’s heart?

  • If you identify is truly in Christ, how should that shape your response to the things that life throws your way this week?

Share your thoughts as a family, encouraging one another to look to God for renewed strength.

Prayer

God, thank you for your guidance and being the source of our strength when we feel tired or distracted. You have raised us to new life through your sacrifice on the cross. Help us to not be distracted by the things of this world but instead, help us to focus on you and keep our eyes set on the things above. Help us to see you in all things, as we go through this week. Thank you for loving us and being there with us no matter what the world may throw at us. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
