Let us know how Jesus at Home has impacted you or your family:

Scripture

“Live such good lives among the pagans that, though they accuse you of doing wrong, they may see your good deeds and glorify God on the day he visits us.”

- 1 Peter 2:12

Observation

Our everyday life reflects Christ in us: how we treat neighbors, coworkers, and the people who don't share our faith. We aren't trying to prove anyone wrong with arguments, but to keep doing good, because good deeds can be seen in a way that words can't. Arguments can be dismissed or debated, but a steady pattern of kindness, honesty, and humility is hard to explain away. The goal isn't for us to look impressive. It's that people would see Christ in us and we would point people back to Jesus in everything that we do.

Application Is there anyone who knows I'm a believer and pays attention to how I handle stress, conflict, or disappointment? What can I do differently with my actions to point them towards Jesus?

Serve someone without being asked and without expecting credit, such as helping a coworker with a task or checking in on a neighbor.

Prayer

Jesus, thank you for calling me your dear child and for giving me a home with you. Help me live in such a way that those around me would be able to see Christ at work in me and that my actions may help point them to you so you can get all the glory. Give me strength to continue living on mission for you wherever I am, Amen.
