SCRIPTURE - Matthew 7:7-11
Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened. Which of you, if your son asks for bread, will give him a stone? 10 Or if he asks for a fish, will give him a snake? If you, then, though you are evil, know how to give good gifts to your children, how much more will your Father in heaven give good gifts to those who ask him!
OBSERVATION
Here, Jesus shows us that God is approachable and wants us to come to Him. He doesn’t tell us to simply accept our circumstances as they are. Instead, He encourages us to ask God for what we need, to seek Him out, and to trust that He will open doors for us.
Think about good earthly parents—they love their kids, provide for them, and create a safe space for them to share their needs. Now imagine how much greater God, the perfect Father, desires to welcome us, provide for us, and invite us into a close relationship with Him. He is always ready to hear from you!
APPLICATION
When Jesus says, "ask and you will receive," it’s not a guarantee for the greatest job or the dream house. God, as the perfect Father, knows what we truly need, even if we can’t see it, and He’s committed to meeting those deeper needs in ways that satisfy our hearts and souls.
But there’s more to it than just receiving from Him—God wants us to approach Him. If He simply handed us everything without us asking, we’d miss out on something far more valuable: the connection and relationship that come from drawing near to Him. When we ask, we’re not just making requests—we’re building trust, deepening our faith, and experiencing His presence.
PRAYER
What do you need from God right now? Healing? Money? Transportation? Have you asked Him for it? Is there anything you’ve held back from bringing to Him? You’ll often find that simply going to God with your requests can be even more fulfilling than the answer itself. Take a moment today to approach Him with your heart’s needs.
"God, I come to you today to ask that you would ________ (fill in your own words here). I know that only you can meet this need, and I trust that you will. More than anything, I remember that you, God, are the greatest gift in my life. In Jesus’ name, amen."
GOD Thanks for Your Son, Your Holy Spirit and this Your Word on today ABBA In JESUS precious name. Let all those being called out by Your Spirit be set free and Born Again into Your Kingdom and let not one hesitate to answer but find a release that can only be found in You as a Father, Saviour and Friend for there is no other way... Thy Kingdom come and Thy will be done!!! Amen

Lord I thank You that You are my provider! You meet me right where I am at. May I continue to come to You daily, not only to ask for things but just to give You praise and gratitude for who You are and who I am because of You Jesus! Thank You for my life, my family, my job, my home, for the things You provide before I even ask at times. You are so worthy God. May my life and my actions each day represent You. I love you. I will never stop sharing You with this dark world, it needs You now more than ever!
God, I need you more than ever right now. I’m trying and a times I get frustrated because I feel like I’m not doing my best. God, I ask you to help my mind, body and soul to gain peace and joy. Allow me not to overthink about anything because, God I am a believer and I do trust in you and your promises. I thank you God for your son and I know that your will, will be done. Amen
