With four main areas, including basketball, pickleball, sand volleyball, and a playground, The Park will be a hub where our church and community can play, hang out, and build relationships with one another. Oaks Learning Center Cedar Hill Campus As the need for local preschools continues to rise, we will be partnering with Life School and opening our second campus at Life School Cedar Hill! We’re so excited to see Oaks Learning Center continue to expand in our community! OLC WEBSITE It's Time to Make Room Main Auditorium & Youth Expansion As the ministry continues to grow, we plan to renovate the Family Theater in the Kids Building as the new meeting place for Oaks Youth on Wednesdays. Because of the unprecedented growth in our church last year, God has put in our hearts to bring the wall down and expand our auditorium to a full capacity of 3,600 seats. Prayer is our Pursuit! We are very excited to start the new year with 21 Days of Prayer as we get into alignment with what the Lord has in store for us. Join us from January 5th to 25th for a daily devotional, prayer, and fasting together. WHAT IS THE DANIEL FAST? DANIEL FAST MEAL PLAN DAILY DEVOTIONAL Sign up today! Sign up for 21 Days of Prayer by committing to fast, pray, and receive a daily devotional. Text the keyword 21days to the number (469) 817-9977 . Ways to Fast As you choose a way to fast, enjoy the closeness you find with God when you set aside time in His presence. Choose to fast 1, 2 or 3 meals a day. Opt for a partial fast like the Daniel Fast . Limit yourself to a liquids only fast. Try fasting from sunrise to sunset. In addition to fasting food, also fast media such as TV, movies, and social media. Daniel What is the Daniel Fast? The Daniel Fast is based on the prophet Daniel’s fasting experiences as recorded in the Bible. The fast is a biblically based partial fast. MEET PASTORS CHRIS + CARA About Chris and Cara Railey Chris and Cara Railey are the co-Lead Pastors of Oaks Church in Red Oak, Texas. They’ve been in pastoral ministry since 2000. Chris and Cara have a rich history with Oaks Church, going back to 2007 when they were the first directors of Oaks College. They have been married since 1999 and are the proud parents of Canon, Caleb, and Cooper. Chris and Cara pastored New Community Church in Mesquite, TX, a church Oaks Church helped parent. Then, they transitioned to the Assemblies of God home office and led the Church Multiplication Network (CMN) in Springfield, Missouri. Chris graduated from Evangel University with a B.A. in Biblical Studies and received his M.A. in Counseling, a Master of Divinity, and a Doctorate of Ministry in Organizational Leadership from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary. Cara graduated from Evangel University with a B.S. in Elementary Education and an M.Ed. in Reading. They’re passionate about the next generation, serving our community, and leading a healthy church that exists to be the bridge between people and Jesus. Fun facts about Chris and Cara When and where I got saved: (Chris) I was 5 years old at a kids crusade in Lakeland Florida. (Cara) I got saved in my grandad’s office when I was 5.
