About Brian Galbraith

My family: On May 7, 1994, Dana and I were married and we have three incredible children. Emily (husband Jaxon), Tyler (wife Marissa), and Andrew.

Ministry Role: As Care Director, I lead a team of people who love to provide direction and counsel to those who are struggling, comfort to those who have lost a loved one, and care for those who are sick.

Dream vacation:  Anywhere in Europe.

Regular coffee order:  Venti Blonde Flat White.

Favorite movie: Lord of the Rings, Star Wars, Borne Trilogy.

Favorite scripture: Galatians 2:20 – “I have been crucified with Christ and I no longer live, but Christ lives in me. The life I now live in the body, I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave himself for me.”

Things that fascinate me: Our skin fascinates me. It is strong, sensitive, pliable, durable, etc. I am amazed at how a cut heals itself. Also, when you cut your finger, how does your fingerprint regenerate? I could continue…

People who inspire me are: Dana and my dad.

Previous job or line of work: I served Windham Assembly of God in Windham, ME for almost 17 years as Youth Pastor, Executive Pastor, and then as Lead Pastor.

One thing that most people don’t know about me: That I have been on almost 20 different foreign short-term missions trips.

When and where I got saved: Trinity Assembly of God in Derry, NH when I was seven.

Music that moves me: I love listening to worship music and I am a big fan of jazz and old world fiddle.

Favorite singer or band: Jesus Culture, Kari Jobe, Bill Evans, Diana Krall, Wynton Marsalis, Miles Davis, Alasdair Frasier and Natalie Haas, and Bela Fleck & The Flecktones.

Peeves: I think feet are gross. Going bowling can be a stressful experience.

Life-changing moment: Accepting Jesus into my life, followed by when I married Dana and when each of our three children were born.

Hidden talent: I can play the piano and the trumpet.

Favorite book: That is an impossible question because I love to read, and often, my favorite book is the book I am currently reading. But if I had to pick a book besides the Bible that has impacted my life, it would be In the Name of Jesus by Henri Nouwen.

In my spare time I… love to play golf but I wish I were better at it.

Favorite TV show:  Seinfeld, The Office, Blue Bloods.

What makes me laugh: Sarcastic humor.

Weird quirks: I often have a melody playing in my head, and I can turn anything into a drum kit. Steering wheels make the best drum kits.

The most adventurous thing I’ve ever done: In 1994 I spent a month in Pakistan sharing the gospel.

My hero: My dad.

Least favorite thing to do: Cleaning the bathroom, which reminds me…
